Mr. William Steven “Steve” Evans, age 56, of Danielsville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

Born on May 4, 1970, in Monroe, Georgia, Steve was the son of Patricia Diane Hamilton Evans and the late James Evans. He worked in construction and was known as a talented construction foreman who could fix just about anything. In his free time, Steve enjoyed baseball, playing horseshoes, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, and watching UFC.

He is survived by his wife, Misty Woods; children, Micheal Woods, Steven Evans, Ashley Evans, and Melissa Smith and her husband, Michael; siblings, Nancy Bailey and Terry Evans; and other loving relatives and friends.

In addition to his father, Steve was preceded in death by other beloved family members.

In accordance with his wishes, Steve will be cremated. No formal services are planned at this time.
