William Thomas "Bill" Habel
Mr. William Thomas "Bill" Habel, age 55 of Hartwell, GA, passed peacefully Sunday, September 26, 2021 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital.
He was born on October 16, 1965 in Berwyn, IL. He was self employed in manufacturing and attended Hartwell First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Brandy Michelle Garner Habel, parents, Thomas Henry Habel and Harlene Anderson Habel of Hartwell, children; Stewart Habel, Abby Habel, Reese Habel and Cash Wright of Hartwell; siblings, Susan Habel, Rockford, IL, Richard (Yesenia) Habel, Channahon, IL., and Michael (Kristin) Habel of Carnesville, GA.
Funeral services honoring Bill's life will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Two o'clock from the sanctuary of Hartwell First United Methodist Church. Dr. R. Allen Stewart will officiate.
Pallbearers will be: Reese Habel, Richard Habel, Cash Wright, Michael Habel, Stewart Habel and Jim Robinson.
The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 5-7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial gift to the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Atlanta, Palisades at West Paces, 3200 Downwood Circle NW, Suite 550, Atlanta, Georgia 30327 in Bill's memory.
