William H. Floyd
Mr. William Harmon "Bill" Floyd, age 81 of 2373 Floyd Road in Dewy Rose, Ga., entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 4 2019 at Spring Valley Health Care.
Born January 24, 1938 in Elbert County, he was the son of the late Herman Floyd and Ruby Ray Floyd. He was retired from the granite industry as a top polisher and of the Congregational faith. He loved to work on lawn mowers and Volkswagens and loved fishing.
He is survived by; his daughter, Sharon Floyd Bryant of Dewy Rose, Ga., grandchildren, Micah Bryant, Denieka Bell and great-grandchildren, Landon Jerrell and Avery Bell and his sister, Ellen Ramsey. He was preceded in death by his parents, ,and siblings, Joyce Scarborough, Virginia Brown, Thelma Lunsford, Melvin Floyd, Dewitt Floyd, Hugh Floyd and Walter Floyd.
At his request he will be cremated and the family will hold a memorial service at his home at a later date.
Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Cremation Service in Hartwell.
