William David Farmer

Mr. William David Farmer, age 59, of Bowman, GA., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at home surrounded by his family and friends following a short battle with cancer.

He was born on April 10, 1963, to the late Horis J. Farmer and Shirley Harris Farmer, in Anderson, SC. David was employed with Cobb Vantress. He loved hunting, fishing, working in his garden, shooting pool, and spending time with his family.  David was one of a kind and to know him was to love him.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Linda Fain Farmer; children, Todd (Kayla) Farmer, Kayla (Eric) Green, Amy (Matt) Horne, Leanne (Dusty) Horne; grandchildren, Bentley (Kayla) Farmer, Leland Farmer, Brooklynn Farmer, Matilynn Horne, Summer Haworth, Destini Horne, Conner Ethridge, Braden Ethridge; great-grandchildren, Ava and Rowan Farmer; sisters, Jean (David) Boles and Carolyn Robertson.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Donna Woodall and grandson, Karson Farmer.

David's wishes were to be cremated and no formal services will be held at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Coile and Hall Funeral Directors 333 E. Johnson St. Hartwell, GA 30643.
