Wayne Irvin

Mr. Thomas Wayne Irvin, age 75 of Williams Street in Hartwell, went to be with the
Lord on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Hart Care Center.

He was born on May 26, 1945 in Lanette, AL to the late Benny Irvin and Mildred White Couey. He was a member of Flat Shoals Baptist Church and was a caring individual who never met a stranger.

He is survived by; his wife, Margaret Jones Hicks Irwin of Hartwell, step-sons, Roger (Amanda) Hicks and Donald (Lori) Hicks, Jr., siblings, John Graham, Emily Carroll, Elaine Davis, Cathy (Jeffery) Stewart, Randy (Penny) Irvin, Diane (Sanford) Chase, Dennis (Tanya) Countryman. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Bill Couey, siblings, James Couey, Paul Couey, Tommy Irvin, Linda Irvin, and Danny Countryman.

Funeral services celebrating Wayne's life will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Five o'clock p.m. in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Rev. Cory Pulliam officiating. Burial will be at Flat Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Social distancing is to be observed. The family will be at their respective homes.
