Obituary for Virginia "Jenny" Wicker (Allen)
Mrs. Virginia "Jenny" Allen Wicker, age 69 of Allen Acres Road, Hartwell, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Rainey Hospice House of Anderson.
She was born August 24, 1948 in Bowersville, Ga., to the late Willie Fred Allen and Betty Floyd Allen. She was a retired business owner from Wicker's Body Shop and a member of Oak Bower Baptist Church.
She is survived by: husband, Jerry Wicker of the home, daughters, Teresa (Larry) Phillips of Hartwell, Ga., Ellen (Paul) Vaught, Chesterfield, Va., and Vickie (Marc) Johnson of Hartwell, Ga; brother, Buddy (Mary Alice) Allen of Hartwell, Ga. Fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Curt Johnson and granddaughter, Crystal Johnson.
Funeral services for Jenny Wicker will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at two o'clock from the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors in Hartwell. Rev. Tommy Cleveland and Rev. Harry Warren will officiate. Burial will follow at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the funeral home and the family will receive friends Saturday evening 5-7. Memorials may be made to Oak Bower Baptist Church General Fund, 1589 Old Highway 29, Hartwell, Ga. 30643.
Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell will be serving the Wicker family.
