Mr. William Travis Lawrence, age 48 of 309 Crumps Road in Hartwell, Ga., went to be with the Lord early Tuesday morning, April 23, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Toccoa, Ga., on November 4,1970 Travis was a member of Flat Shoals Baptist Church and loved his family and fishing.
He is survived by; his father, William Larry Lawrence and step-mother, Judy of Hartwell, Ga., sister, Sharon Peace and her husband, David of Hartwell, Ga., niece, Alicia Mewborn and her husband, Dusty, nephew, Ryan Peace and his wife, Erica, great-nieces and nephews, Alexis Byers, Macie Byers, Kendall Mewborn, Auri Peace, Cole Mewborn and Urijah Peace. He was preceded in death by his mother, Fannie Sue Brown Lawrence, grandparents, Gladys Mae Brown and Thomas Wade Brown, Louise Lawrence and Alford Bud Lawrence, step-grandparents, Hazel and Emmett Sanders and step-brother, Adam Sanders.
Funeral services celebrating the life of Travis Lawrence will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Two o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Rev. Cory Pulliam and Rev. Johnny Stowe will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the funeral home and the family will greet friends on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. The family will be at the home.
Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell will be serving the Lawrence family.
