Tony Buffington

Mr. Tony Ray Buffington, age 64 of N. Forest Avenue in Hartwell, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospice House, Watkinsville.

He was born on April 27, 1958 in Hartwell, Ga., to the late Eugene Buffington and Kathleen Lawrence Buffington. He was reared in the home of his grandparents, the late Albert and Rosa Lee Lawrence. Tony was a carpenter in the construction industry and a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memories are; his children, T.J. Buffington, Cody Buffington, Bo Buffington and Leanna Bryant, sister, Patricia Couch, as well as six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Karen Cleveland, and brother, Donnie Buffington.

The family will host a memorial service at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
