Tommy Evans

Born December 22, 1945, Tommy passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at the age of 79, in the comfort of his home.

Tommy was the son of the late Wilbur and Ruby Evans. He was a loving husband to his wife of 59 years, Lynne Stratton Evans, and a devoted father to his only daughter, Cindy Evans Agnew. Tommy was also a proud grandfather to his two granddaughters, Aspen and Claudia. He cherished his family and was the ultimate protector of his three girls.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Jeff Evans and Judy Carruth; his son, Allen Keith Evans; and dear family member Lorraine Willis, the late wife of Vernon Willis.

He is survived by his wife, daughter, granddaughters, sons-in-law Bill Gilstrap and Garen Yessayan, and many other loved ones, including Vernon Willis, David Willis, Sharon Willis Mills, Ryan Mills, Summer Willis Milford, her husband Jake, and their children Hampton and Halstyn, as well as many others including nieces and nephews.

His love for his family and selflessness toward anyone in need were just a few of the qualities that made him so dearly loved and respected.

A celebration of Tommy's life will be held graveside at New Bethel Church on April 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM.

He will be missed by all who knew him.
