April 22, 1968 – May 3, 2026
"We are confident, yes well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:8. Ms. Teresa Ann Oglesby Wheeler of Hartwell, Ga. departed this life and entered into eternal rest on May 3, 2026, while being surrounded by her loving family. Affectionally known as "Rita", Teresa was a 1987 graduate of Hart County School. She spent many years employed at Hartwell Sports as an embroidery and screen print machine operator. In her later years, she was employed with Lake Foods.
Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Harold Oglesby, and a brother-in law, Barry Browner.

She leaves to cherish her mother Homerzell Scott of Hartwell, Ga; three sisters Angela "Yvette" Oglesby, Tracie Teasley (Reggie), and Shon Browner; three children: Wayntarious "Shane" Moore, Quenterious "Tony" Moore and Tijwana Goss, four step-siblings, William Smith, Jerome Scott, Sonya Scott, and Tammy Riley, Seven grandchildren; Alasia Moore, Jada Moore, Shane Moore Jr., Zayvion Moore, Kameron Mayfield, Aiden Moore, and Armani Moore; one great-grand daughter, Oakleigh Moore, and a host of cousins, relatives and friends. Teresa was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
A Funeral service will be held on Saturday May 9th, 2026 at 3;00 p.m., located at Holy Calvary M.R.F. Church, 10555 Hwy. 17 Lavonia, Ga. 30553
Teresea will lie in state one hour prior to the service from 2:00 - 3:00 PM. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family is receiving visitors at 88 Jones Bishop Rd., Hartwell Ga. 30643
Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory, 333 E. Johnson Street Hartwell Ga. 30643
