Mrs. Teresa Ann Shaver Haggstrom, 67, of Green Acres Road, Elberton, wife of 40 years to the late David Arthur "Dave" Haggstrom, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 22, 2026, at her residence, as the result of a tragic lawnmower accident.

The eldest of four, Teresa was born in Anderson, SC on January 27, 1959, daughter of the late Ervin Louis Shaver and Gertie Ava Propes Shaver. She and her husband Dave were the owners/operators of D&T Granite. She was an active member of Assembly Church of Hartwell where she served as treasurer for many years. Teresa took great pride in ministering to shut-ins - taking them out to eat and on shopping trips. She video recorded every Sunday service to share with many.

Teresa loved her family dearly, and was truly the glue that kept them all together. She looked forward to hosting family holidays, spoiling her nieces and nephews, and just being together.

She is survived by her companion, Ray Burt of Dewy Rose; siblings: Michael and Hollie Shaver of Elberton, Angela Shaver of Anderson, SC, and David Shaver of SC; nieces and nephews: Tiffany Shaver, Tamara and Zac Graham, Sydney and Jonathan Dove, Jacob Shaver, Ava and Aidan Marrs, Julia Shaver, Isaiah Johnson, Marc Shaver, Hannah Driver, Austin Driver, and Ed Driver; great-nieces and great-nephews: Ryder, MJ, Wren, Andrea, Annaliese, Lawson, Ashlynn, Alice, Wayne, and Stryker; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is at the residence and will receive friends on Thursday, June 25, from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at Berry Funeral Home.

Funeral services celebrating Teresa's life will be conducted on Friday, June 26, at 2:00p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Revs. Roland Molina and Ned Klugh officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Garden of Prayer in Hartwell.

Flowers are accepted and contributions may be made in her memory to T.J. & Friends Foundation, Post Office Box 6161, Elberton, GA 30635.
