Mrs. Teena Barbara Cape Cordell, age 59 of Sanders Drive, Hartwell, GA, went to be with the Lord on July 11, 2021 surrounded by her family.
She was born on April 26, 1962 in Hart County to the late Rita Ray Cape and Mozelle Gray Cape. She worked in the medical field as a Home Health Nurse and was a Christian.
She is survived by; children, Stephanie Smith, Royston, Ga., Jason Smith, Canon, Ga., Kyle Smith, Royston, Ga., and Ashley (Bradley) Standridge, Hartwell, Ga., sisters, Kathy Woods and Linda Hatchett. Ten grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Cordell and brother, Kenneth Cape.
Services will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Two o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Rev. Larry Kiser will officiate. Private burial will be at Bowersville City Cemetery. The family will be at their respective homes. The family will receive friends on Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
