Obituary for Tara Burdette (Feltman)
Mrs. Tara Feltman Burdette, age 42 of 796 Laurel Drive, Hartwell, Ga., entered into rest and went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at home with her family at her side.
Tara was born in Anderson, S.C. on August 16, 1974, and was the daughter of the late Dale Feltman and Eleanor Reid Feltman. She was owner and operator of Stylette Beauty Salon and Day Spa for 25 years. She was a member of Flat Shoals Baptist Church and was a dedicated follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a vibrant and colorful person who loved all.
She is survived by her husband, Sean Burdette and daughter, Alexandria Grace Burdette, of the home, sister, Dona Feltman Sanders and her husband, Tim of Hartwell, and her brother, Kevin Feltman of South Carolina, and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Feltman and Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Reid.
A celebration of Tara’s life will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Five o’clock p.m. from the sanctuary of First Baptist Church in Hartwell. Mr. Shane Williams and Rev. Keith Reid will officiate. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. There will be no formal visitation. However, following the service the family will hold a celebratory reception in the church fellowship hall to greet guests.
Flowers are to be omitted and please make memorials in Tara’s memory to Flat Shoals Baptist Church, 2999 Bowersville Highway, Bowersville, Ga., 30516 or First Baptist Church Children’s Ministry, 81 E. Howell Street, Hartwell, Ga. 30643.
The family will be at the home of Dona and Tim Sanders, 3776 Bio Church Road, Hartwell, Ga.
