Tanny Alewine

Mr. Tanny Wade Alewine, age 62 of Springdale Drive in Hartwell, passed away at home following a sudden illness on Friday, December 23, 2022.

He was born on October 22, 1960 in Kannapolis, NC to Wade Alewine and the late Betty Carruth. He worked in Quality Control.

Mr. Alewine is preceded in death by his mother, his grandparents, Clarence and Linnie Alewine, his son, Keston Alewine, his brother, Anthony Alewine and a sister, Kim Vickery.

 He is survived by his daughter, Tia Alewine, his sibilings, Jonathon Alewine, Wade Alewine, Timothy Alewine, and Renee Ramey. Grandchildren, Patrick Alewine, Eli Alewine, who is serving in the Army in Korea, and Waylon Alewine, Great Grandchild, Kingston Alewine. Brother-in-law, Ricky Vickery, and nephew, Christopher Alewine.

In accordance to his wishes, Tanny will be cremated and a memorial service will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Rev. Randall Starrett will be officiating.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
