Mrs. Sylvia Ray Wood, age 71 of 736 Allen Farm Road, Lavonia, Ga., entered into rest on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson surrounded by her family.
She was born October 28, 1946 to the late William Henry Ray and Mary Horton Ray. She was a homemaker and retired from restoring classic cars and she was a member of the Lavonia Church of God.
She is survived by her husband, Lane Wood of the home, daughter, Robin (David) O'Bryant of Lavonia, grandson, Andrew O'Bryant and his wife, Carly O'Bryant. She was preceded in death by her parents and great-grandson, Silas O'Bryant.
A private graveside service will be held at Lavonia City (Burgess) Cemetery.
