Susie Blackwell

Ms. Susie Blackwell, age 80 of Hartwell, GA transitioned into eternal rest on Monday, July 28, 2025. Susie was born October 17, 1944 in Hartwell, GA to John Blackwell and Beatrice (Hill) Blackwell.

Susie was a faithful listener of WKLY, and enjoyed her episodes of Gunsmoke. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Susie is survived by her sister Lorene Blackwell, and her niece Twina Blackwell.

Ms. Susie will lie in state at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors & Crematory 333 E. Johnson St. Hartwell on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 4, 2025 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. A private burial will take place at Ruckers Grove Baptist Baptist Church.
