Mr. Steven Horton Leard, age 60 of 550 Twin Branch Road, Lavonia, Ga. went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 25, 2018 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born November 12, 1957 in Anderson, S.C., he was a farmer and mechanic, was a jack of all trades, loving old cars, tractors and antiques.He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Lavonia,
He is survived by; his mother, Wynell Brock Leard of Lavonia, Ga. son, Nicholas Benjamin Leard of Lavonia, Ga., and brother, Alton Timothy Leard of Lavonia, Ga.,nephews, Andrew Timothy Leard, Sean Riley Leard, Daniel Cade Leard, and Jonas Corey Leard; two grandchildren, Olivia and Noah Bledsoe. He was preceded in death by his father, Alton Vaughn Leard.
Funeral services celebrating the life of Steven Leard will be held on Monday, May 28, 2018 at Eleven o'clock a.m. from the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Rev. Chris Pritchett officiating. The family will hold a private burial.
The body is at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 5-7 Sunday evening. The family will be at the home.
