Obituary for Stephen Turner
Mr. Stephen Amos Turner, age 73 of 1340 Turner Road, Elberton, Ga., entered into rest on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson, S.C.
He was born October 7, 1943 in Elberton, Ga., a son of the late Claude Turner and Sybil Craft Turner. He was retired from the granite industry and a member of New Bethel United Methodist Church. He had a love for old vehicles and all animals, and he was a friend to all.
He is survived by; son, Greg Perry Turner, and his wife, Tonya of Spartanburg, S.C., sister, Claudine Turner Sims, of Dacula, Ga., brother, Michael Turner of Elberton, Ga., and two grandchildren, Grayson and Gauge Turner. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Roger Turner and nephew, Dillon Turner.
It was his wishes to be cremated and no formal services will be held. Friends and family are welcome to visit family at the Turner home from 2-5 p.m., daily 1340 Turner Road in Elberton, Ga.
Coile-Hall-Spagnoli Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell will be serving the Turner family.
