Soun Sup Kim, a devoted farmer and cherished member of his community passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on January 31, 1938, he lived a life marked by resilience, commitment, and an unwavering dedication to both his family and his work.
Soun served in the Korean Army, a testament to his strong sense of duty and honor. Following his military service, he embraced a life of farming, where he poured his heart and soul into the land. His work not only helped to sustain his family but also fostered a deep connection with nature that he cherished throughout his life.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Junghee Lee, who stood by his side through the joys and challenges of life. Their bond was complemented by the love for their son, Sung Kim and his wife, Hyosung, and the joy brought to them by their grandchildren, Everest Lee and Hanah Lee. Soun's family was the cornerstone of his existence, and he derived immense pride and happiness from their accomplishments and well-being.
Soun reunites in eternity with his parents, Jungsee Kim and Young Job Kim, who predeceased him. Their memories and legacies shaped the values he carried throughout his life, instilling in him a profound appreciation for hard work, compassion, and family.
Soun Sup Kim will be lovingly remembered by his family as a man of integrity, warmth, and strength. He touched the lives of all who knew him and left an indelible mark on his community through his contributions and the love he shared. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he cherished.
The family will host a memorial service at a later time.
