Miss Shelby Lynn Elrod, age 28 of Bowman, GA, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 28, 2021 in Athens, GA.
She was born on August 14, 1992 in Royston, Ga. Shelby worked in distribution/shipping. She was of the Christian Faith.
She is survived by; her parents, Jeff and Pat Elrod of Bowman, Ga., daughter, Kinsley Smith of Bowman, Ga., grandmother, Kathy Fowler of Royston, Ga., grandfather, Jerry Vanderveer of Canon, Ga., grandmother, Jerri Elrod of Bowman, Ga., as well as many special friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Coy Elrod and fiance' Rusty Smith.
Funeral services for Shelby will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Six o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Rev. Sean Payne officiating. The family will greet friends and family 4-6 p.m. just prior to the service. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made in her memory to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson St, Hartwell, GA 30643, 706-376-0050, to offset funeral expenses. Private burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Bowman, Ga.
The family will be at the home of Jeff and Pat Elrod, 53 Bowers St , Bowman, GA 30624.
All arrangements are under the care and direction of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Cremations, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
