Sharon McGuire

Ms. Sharon P. McGuire, age 60 of Hartwell, Ga., entered into rest on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.

She was born on September 1, 1958 to the late Derrelle D. Pridgen Sr. and Mary Kilroy Pridgen in Atlanta, GA. She had a Masters Degree Ed.S in Speech Therapy and worked as a Speech Pathologist. She was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hartwell, GA.

Sharon was proceeded in death by her husband Joseph Patrick McGuire. She is survived by her son; Sean(Autumn) McGuire of Toccoa, GA, daughter; Jennifer(Chris) Rosbury of Auburn, GA, brothers; Derrelle Pridgen of Fayetteville, GA, Tim(Beth) Pridgen of Madison, GA, Chris(Terri) Pridgen of Marietta, GA, sisters; Camille Pridgen of Pflugerville, TX., grandchildren; Ryan McGuire, AnnaBelle Rosbury and Meabh Rosbury,; Mother in law Harriett McGuire, sister and brother in laws; Cathy(Todd) Grimes, Jim(Karen) McGuire and John(Deanna) McGuire and Father David McGuire.

A Memorial Mass for Ms. McGuire will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Eleven o'clock at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hartwell, GA. Visitation will be held Friday, February 15, 2019 from 5-7 pm. at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Private burial will be held Monday, February 18, 2019 at Oconee Hill Cemetery in Athens, Ga.
