Satira Leverette

Mrs. Satira Gaines Leverette, age 50 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022

She was born on September 6, 1971 in Hartwell. Satira had been a caregiver and was a member of Sardis Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Gwen Gaines, father and mother in law, James and Rosa Lee Leverette, daughter, Leekira Gaines, son, Ronnie L. Leverette, Jr., brothers, Latrell Gaines, and Clinton Gaines, sisters, Jennifer Gaines, Crystal Lester, brother in law, Irin Leverette, and Thomas "Jink" Leverette.

Satira is survived by; her father, William Howard Gaines, husband, Ron Leverette, sons, Leejarred Leverette, Royauntavious (Katty) Tate, daughter, Etronda (Josh) Leverette, grandchildren, Amari Tate, Skylynn Tate, Terriuana Chapman, Tyquerious Chapman, siblings, Milton (Brenda) Gaines, Johnny Rayton Bowman, Pamela (Max) Brooks, Karen Gaines, Kimberly (Josh) Simpson, Latoya Gaines, Patrice (Lamont) Heard and special sisters, Claretta Simpson and Carlita Simpson, her in laws, Jasper (Sharon) Leverette, George (Joanne) Leverette, Anthony (Natalie) Leverette, Joe Leverette, Candy (Charles) Rickett, Angie Leverette and Karin Leverette.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Two o'clock in the Sanctuary of Hartwell First United Methodist Church. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be at Sardis Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 2240 Liberty Hill Road in Hartwell.

Arrangements are under the care of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
