Sarah Rogers

Mrs. Sarah Diane Whiting Rogers, age 70 of Whiting Road in Hartwell, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 26, 2023.

She was born on August 16, 1952 in Anderson, S.C. Sarah was a retired nurse and was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading her Bible, Word Puzzles and Sewing.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Logan Fate Rogers, daughter, Christine Sargent and son Tony Sargent, brothers, Jack and Ken Whiting, grandchildren, Jessica Dickson and Breanna Sargent and great-grandchild, Vada Dickson and nephew, Chris Whiting.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Whiting and Guynell White Whiting and her brother, Gerald Whiting.

The family will host a visitation for family and friends on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 6-8 p.m. at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. To honor her wishes, she will be cremated following the visitation service. No formal service will be held.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
