Ruth Vivian Wilkinson Kruer, age 57 of Lavonia, Ga., passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.
She was born on July 28, 1963 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Thomas Wilkinson, Sr., and Gladys Jeannette Adams Wilkinson. Ruth was a respiratory therapist at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia. She was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School Class of 1981 and graduated from Athens Tech in 2006. She was a giver and caretaker. She was of the Baptist / Lutheran Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Richard Tucker.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Maddox, sons, Edwin Kruer of St. Johns, Fl., Ryan Kruer of Lavonia, Ga., and step-son, Seth Maddox., grandchildren, Madison and Karley Kruer, Bethany Byrd, Easton and Rhett Maddox.
The family will host a memorial service celebrating her life at a later date in Jacksonville/St. John's FL.
All arrangements are under the care and direction of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
