Rudy Vickery

Mr. Rudolph "Rudy" Vickery, age 88 of Airline Store Road in Bowersville, Ga., passed away peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Hartwell Health and Rehab.

He was born in Hart County on October 5, 1933 to the late George Clark Vickery and Susie Maybelle Foster Vickery. Rudy retired from Wometco Vending Company as a mechanic. He was an U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. He was of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by; sister Shirley Jean (Robert) Knapp of Grove City, OH., along with a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Maybell Campbell Vickery, siblings, James Alton Vickery, Alvin Vickery, Johnny Vickery, Madaline Holbrook and Mary Helen Evans.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022 at One o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Rev. Sean Payne will officiate and military honors will be provided by American Legion Post 109. Burial will be at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the funeral home where the family will greet friends on Monday from 12-1 just prior to the funeral service. The family will be at their respective homes.

Arrangements are under the care of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
