Mr. Ruben Huerta Gomez, age 75 of Bio Church Road, Dewy Rose, Ga., passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, January 25, 2021.
Mr. Gomez was born on June 1, 1945 to Julio Gomez and Julia Huerta in Michuacan, Mexico. He was an electrician and installer in the manufacturing industry. He was of the Catholic Faith and attended Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hartwell, GA.
Mr. Gomez is survived by his children; Jorge Gomez of Gardena, CA., Eric Gomez of Bell Flower, CA., Ida Lopez of Dewy Rose, GA., and Pablo Gomez of Lynwood, CA., siblings; Francisco Gomez and Isael Gomez, Fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife; Maria Dolores Retolaza De Gomez.
Memorial services are pending.
The family has entrusted Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Cremations, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell to arrange his services.
