In Loving Memory of Rondal "Ron" Booth Morrison, Jr.

Rondal "Ron" Booth Morrison, Jr., 51, of Elberton, Georgia, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, Georgia.

Ron was born on November 21, 1974, in Elberton, Georgia, to the late Rondal Booth "Ronnie" Morrison, Sr. and Annette Moore Morrison. He was the grandson of Mimie Lee Booth Morrison of Lincolnton, Georgia, and Elsie and Ulyse Moore of Washington, Georgia.

Ron will be lovingly remembered by his children, Dylan (Andrea) Morrison, and Danielle (Blaze) Bruce; his grandchildren, Briar Morrison, Kayden Morrison, Tucker Bruce, and Sutton Bruce; his sisters, Jackie Rhodes, Patty Morrison, Lisa Trotter, and Tracie Morrison; his chosen brother, Alfred Odister; and his favorite aunt, Kathy Barnett of Lincolnton, Georgia.

Ron was one of a kind. He was the youngest of five siblings and the only boy, and he had a way of making sure he was never forgotten. He loved his family deeply, even if he didn't always know how to show it. He loved to cut up, make people laugh, tell stories, and have a good time. If you knew Ron, you probably have a story about him—and chances are, that story still makes you laugh.

Much like his daddy, Ronnie, Ron had a gift for telling stories. He could take the simplest moment and turn it into something you would remember for years. His humor, his personality, and his ability to make people laugh will be some of the things his family misses most.

Ron lived a complicated life and faced struggles that many people never truly understood. But behind all of that was a man who was loved by his family and who left behind pieces of himself in the lives of the people who knew him.

His sisters will carry countless memories of their little brother—the aggravating little brother they could fuss at one minute and fiercely defend the next. No matter how difficult life became, he was their brother, and that bond could never be changed.

Most importantly, Ron had recently shared with his family that he knew the Lord and held firmly to his faith. Those words are a comfort now as his family tries to make sense of a loss that came far too soon.

Ron leaves behind more than sadness. He leaves behind laughter, stories, memories, and a lifetime of moments that his family will carry with them forever.

His children will remember their father. His grandchildren will grow up hearing the stories of their grandfather. His sisters will forever remember their baby brother. And everyone who loved Ron will have their own memories of the man he was.

Though his life was not always easy, his struggles are now behind him. May he finally have the peace he spent his life searching for.

Ron will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Rest peacefully, Ron. You will always be our brother, our son, our father, our grandfather, and our family.
