Mr. Ronald Thomas Whitfield, age 57 of 213 Cartee-Johnson Road, Hartwell, Ga., went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 2, 2018 at his home.
He was born March 9, 1961 in Hartwell, Ga., he was the son of the late Thomas Whitfield and Betty Scott Whitfield. He was employed in the garment industry as a cutter and a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church.
He is survived by; his wife, Janice Cartee Whitfield of the home, son, Thomas Whitfield of the home, brother, Steven Whitfield and his wife, Angie of Hartwell, Ga. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Debra Edwards.
Funeral services for Ronald Whitfield were held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at eleven o'clock a.m. from the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell. Rev. Ken Brewer will officiate. Cremation followed the service. The family received friends Wednesday 10-11 just prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice. The family will be at the home of Betty Cartee, 116 Cartee-Johnson Road, Hartwell.
Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell will be serving the Whitfield family.
