Robert D. Taylor

Mr. Robert Douglas Taylor, age 59 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

He was born on May 5, 1962 in Anderson, S.C., and was a diesel mechanic. He loved farming, animals, racing and watching wrestling on TV. He attended Generostee ARP Church in Starr, S.C.

Left to cherish his memories are; his mother, Sue Sayer, his wife, Melissa Polly Taylor, son, Robert Taylor, Jr., daughter; Kelli Taylor, siblings, Jimmy (Dottie) Dutton and David Dutton, grandchildren, Payton Taylor and Easton Smith. He was preceded in death by his father, James Dutton, sister, Tracy Dutton, Niece, Crystal Saxon, great-niece, Brylee Saxon, grandparents, Herschel and Frank Taylor, Arthur and Mary Lou Dutton.

A celebration of life service will be held at his home on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at twelve noon.

Arrangements are under the care of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
