Mr. Robert Cecil Reed, age 58 of Lakeshore Circle in Hartwell, Ga., passed away at his home following a sudden illness on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021.
He was born on April 2, 1963, in California to the late Charles Reed and Peggy Gates Reed. He was a Carpenter by trade, and he loved fishing, hunting, making things from wood and his grandchildren. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Robert is survived by his wife, Loraine Gentry Reed, children, Tony (Robin) Duncan of Franklinton, LA., Megan Duncan (Clark Partain) of Hartwell, Ga., mother and father-in-law, Calvin and Betty Jean Smith of Hartwell, Ga., siblings, Nancy Risner and Mickey Reed of Hartwell, GA grandchildren, Nicholas, Reece, Nathan and Rhett Duncan, Kaylee Duncan, and Arya Partain along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Four o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Rev. Timothy Carter officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
The family will greet friends 2-4 p.m. on Thursday just prior to the service. The family is their respective homes.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell
