Robert T. Peace

Mr. Robert Thurmond Peace, age 83 of Bowersville, Ga., passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at home surrounded by family.

He was born on October 8, 1938 in Carnesville to the late Benjamin Howard Peace and Rosie Bell Peace.

He worked for Lavonia Manufacturing and was a repairman for sewing machines. He was a Mason and a member of the Bowersville Masonic Lodge. He was of the Church of God Faith

Mr. Peace is survived by his children; Robert David Peace (Sharon), Douglas Edward Peace (Debbie King), brother; Roy Peace, grandkids; Alicia Mewborn, Brandon Peace, Jennifer Reckling, David Ryan Peace, great grandkids; Lexie Byers, Joshua Donkersgood, Macie Byers, Noah Donkersgood, Kendall Mewborn, Cole Mewborn, Auri Peace, Urijah Peace, Chloe Peace, Clair Peace, and Maverick Reckling. He is preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter, Barbara Joan Peace and brothers Benjamin, Oscar, Donald, and Otis.

Funeral Services for Mr. Robert Peace will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at two o'clock in the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Rev. Tommy Childress officiating. Visitation will be held from 1pm until the service. Burial will follow in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

Arrangements are under the care of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
