Robert (Bob) Anthony Edens

Robert Anthony Edens (known to most as Bob), age 83 of Martin Georgia, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024. He was born in Charlotte NC to the late James Kenneth Edens and Mary Culpepper Edens. He was a retired sheet metal engine mechanic for Delta Airlines. He served in the United States Navy from 1959 to 1965. He was well known for his musical talent, mastering dobro guitar and had an incredible singing voice. He was of the catholic faith. 

He is preceded in death by his late wife, Shelvie Jean (Rice) Edens, a baby (born sleeping), his parents, and his brothers, Joseph and Jim Edens.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Michael (Jodi Lynn) Edens and Christopher Scott Edens both of Martin Georgia. 

The family will have a ceremony at 2:00 pm at the Edens Family Cemetery at Sheriff Road in Martin Georgia on Friday, April, 19, 2024. Burial will follow the service.
