Richard Loyd Knowles

Mr. Richard Loyd Knowles, age 52 of Hartwell, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 12, 2021 at home surrounded by his family and friends.

He was born on January 1, 1969 in Miami, FL to the late Henry "Richard" Knowles and Joyce Johnston Knowles. He was a Carpenter by trade and a member of Woodmen, the NRA and he proudly served in the U.S. Army where he was a Chemical Operations Specialist. He was of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by; his wife, Tina Graham Knowles, son, Parker Hackett of the home, siblings, Robert (Patrizia) Knowles, Gastonia, N.C., and Lee Knowles of Leesburg, FL, mother in law, Roberta Graham and his fur babies, Cookie, Csonka and Annabelle. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved Labrador, Buster.

Funeral services celebrating Richard's life will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Two o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Rev. Ken Brewer will officiate. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army. Cremation will follow the service and a private burial will take place at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at the home on Cedar Creek Circle in Hartwell. They will greet friends from 12-2 just prior to the funeral service on Saturday at the funeral home. Please make memorials to Hart County Humane Society, 1364 Reed Creek Highway, Hartwell, Ga., 30643
