Mr. Richard “Glenn” Seymour age 68 of Hartwell, GA passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center. Born on April 16, 1958 in Elberton, GA he was the son of the late Richard Seymour and Nancy (Richardson) Seymour.

Glenn was a truck driver, and he enjoyed traveling the open roads, hunting, and spending time in the mountains. When not trucking Richard enjoyed spending time with his dogs Vixie and Buster Brown.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Charles Seymour, granddaughter Maylyn Gail Seymour and grandson Noah Seymour.

Glenn is survived by his sons; Jeremy Seymour (Brooklyn), Chad Seymour (Dana), Adam Seymour (Sharon), and Levi Seymour. Companion Kathy Seigler. Grandchildren; Russell Seymour, Hollister Seymour, Dustin Peirson, Devin Wilson, Hannah White, Harley Schneider, Hank Seymour, Hallie Seymour, Adri Seymour, Skyler Seymour, and Jacob Seymour.

There are no formal services at this time and per Glenn’s wishes a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory of 333 E. Johnson Street Hartwell, GA 30643.
