Raymond Andrew "Ray" Hopkins Sr.

Mr. Raymond "Ray" Andrew Hopkins, Sr., age 75 of Clay Brown Road in Hartwell, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital.

He was born on June 17, 1945 in Greenwood, S.C., to the late John F. Hopkins, Jr., and Pauline Marler Hopkins. He retired from Habersham Hardware and was a member of Price Chapel Church of God.

He is survived by; his wife, Revie Langford Hopkins, children, Angela (Patrick) Ratchford, of Piedmont, S.C., April (Matt) Wigington of Braselton, Ga., Raymond (Lisa) Hopkins, Jr., of Anderson, S.C., Vickie (Randy) Phillips, Greg Fleeman, Terry (Tracy) Harris, Jill (Ronald) Teasley and Tracy Harris all of Hartwell, Ga., sister, Polly Arrowood of Royston, Ga., twenty-one grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Barbara Jo Banister, Johnny and Bobby Hopkins.

Funeral services for Mr. Hopkins will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Two o'clock from the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating. Cremation will follow the service. The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. The family will be at the home.
