Rayford Dove

Mr. Rayford Dove, age 71 of 407 Bakers Road in Royston, Ga., went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 3, 2020 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born on July 4, 1948 in Royston, Ga., to the late Grady Dove and Mandie Busby Dove. He was a retired carpenter and attended Prices Chapel Church of God. Rayford loved his family and especially his grandkids.

He is survived by: his wife, Wanda Davis Dove of the home, daughter, Renae (Clint) Watson of Royston and Kenny (Crystal) Dove of Bowersville, Ga., sister, Jean Carey of Danielsville, Ga., grandchildren, Ashton Watson, Nick Watson, Mackenzie Dove, Austin Childs, Kristen Childs and Lily Stephens. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Robert, Howard, Raymond and Lee Dove and by his sister, Sara Skelton.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Rayford Dove will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at One o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Rev. Johnny Stowe will officiate with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Royston. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors in Hartwell, at other times the family will be at the home.

Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell will be serving the Dove family.
