Obituary for Peter S. Sposato
Mr. Peter S. Sposato, age 70, of Old Beacon Light Rd., passed from this life on August 14, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at his home.
Mr. Sposato was born on July 20, 1948 in San Antonio, TX. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Sposato. He was a retired Sergeant with the Elmwood Park, NJ Police Dept. having served for 21 years. He also proudly served in the US Air Force as a military police for two tours in Vietnam. He had a great love for music and enjoyed dancing.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Sanders Chappelear of the home; step-children, Kendall and Shannon Chappelear, and Scott and Krystal Prickett; niece, Marie Freytag; uncle, Julius Sposato; three cousins, Robin, David, and Tom Quinn; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Per his wishes there will be no public service for Mr. Sposato.
There will be a visitation ONLY on Saturday, August 18, 2018, from Three o’clock - Five o’clock pm, at the Lavonia First Baptist Church Family Life Center.
The family is at the home, 428 Old Beacon Light Rd. Hartwell, GA 30643.
The Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnsons St. Hartwell, GA 30643, will be serving the family of Mr. Sposato.
