Patsy Sue Bowers Carpenter

Mrs. Patsy Sue Thrasher Bowers Carpenter, age 68, of Hartwell, GA. passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022, at Landmark Hospital in Athens, GA. surrounded by her family.

She was born on May 18, 1954 in Hartwell to the late Joe Thrasher and Nettis Sue Thrasher. Patsy worked as a waitress for many years. She loved spending time with family and going to Bingo with her sister and former member of the VFW. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Hope Lash and April Jones both of Hartwell, sisters, Betty Teasley and Susan Craft of Hartwell, grandchildren; Tanner Bowers, Guy Jones, Kimberly Tolbert, Jeremiah Jones and Ruby Jones and two great-grandchildren, Preston Bowers and Colton Brady. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Stanley Bowers and second husband, Danny Carpenter and brother in law, Jerry Craft.

Funeral services for Mrs. Carpenter will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Six o'clock in the evening in the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Rev. Ken Brewer and Rev. Todd London will officiate. The family will greet friends from 5 p.m. until the service hour. Cremation will follow the service.
