Mrs. Patricia Ann Ward Stovall, 84, longtime resident of the Rock Branch Community in Elberton, GA, died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Manor Care Health Care Center in Marietta, GA.

Mrs. Stovall was born in Elbert County on August 22, 1938, the eldest daughter of the late Thomas Jamie Ward and Orene Gaines Ward. She was a 1956 graduate of Elbert County High School and worked in the accounting department at Bellcraft Manufacturing Company/Hartwell Company, from where she retired in 2008

Pat was a member of Rock Branch Baptist Church where she was involved with the WMU. She had also been a member of First Baptist Church of Elberton where she was active in the Senior Adult Ministry.

Pat most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, working in her flower gardens, and traveling with her friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Joe Pat Stovall.

Survivors include her children: Mike Stovall and his wife, Denise, of Peachtree City, GA, Ken Stovall and his wife, Ann, of Kennesaw, GA, and Deborah Stovall Gaffney of Marietta, GA; sisters: Martha Moon and her husband, Coy, of Elberton, GA and Linda Callaway and her husband, Don, of Advance, NC; grandchildren: Lyndsey Anne Vera and her husband, Oscar, of Waxahachie, TX, Lauren Elizabeth Gaffney of Marietta, GA, and Thomas Winslow Stovall of Kennesaw, GA; great-grandson: Jaxon Levi Gaffney of Marietta, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00p.m. on Sunday, October 30, at Berry Funeral Home.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 11 o'clock on Monday, October 31, at Rock Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Purvis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
