Patricia Shaw

Mrs. Patricia Rice Shaw, age 81 of 573 Cherokee Ridge Road, Canon, Ga., entered into rest on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born October 13, 1935 in Hart County, she was the daughter of the late Alfus and Lila Mize Rice. She was a seamstress and member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by: her husband, Bobby Shaw of the home, son, Lanier Shaw and his wife Joy of Canon, Ga., son-in-law Dan Yeargin, Grandchildren, Matt Yeargin, Justin Shaw and Grant Shaw. Nine great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild survives. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Pam Yeargin, siblings, John A. Rice, Sara Jo Flora, Frances Legg, Betty Bagwell, Billie McCorvey and Gwen Poole.

Memorial services celebrating Patricia's life will be Friday, September 8, 2017 at Two o'clock from the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Rev. Kendall Hicks and Mr. Dan Yeargin will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family will be at the home.

Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell will be serving the Shaw family.
