Mrs. Patricia Deneen Chapman Adams, age 88 of Hartwell, Ga., entered her eternal rest on Friday, July 30, 2021 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was born on March 14, 1933 in Detroit, MI to the late Edward Chapman and Alice Redding Chapman. Patricia was a homemaker most of her life and was the loving mother of five children. She was the funniest, feistiest, sweetest, lovable, smartest, strongest, fashionable Michigander. She loved to decorate and was an amazing cook, mentor, teacher and an avid book reader and crossword expert which helped her always win at scrabble. Patricia made an impression on everyone she met. She was of the Catholic Faith.
She is survived by; her beloved children, Michele (Steven) Kimmet of Elida, OH, Patricia Heffner of Anderson, SC, Erin Adams of Washington, MI, Bobby Adams of Newport, MI and Amy (Rob Mickovic) Adams of Hartwell, Ga., eleven cherished grandchildren, Adam Heffner, Shannon Kimmet-Crow, Chad Heffner, April Heffner-Thomas, Sean Stephens, Bobby Adams, Jr., Channing Adams, Joey Donoghue, Morgan Adams, Halle' Adams-DiMaria and Tricia Adams-Morris and seventeen great-grandchildren survive. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Robert Lincoln Adams in which they shared 67 years of marriage and by her son-in-law, Terry Heffner.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at One o’clock from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Howell, MI. The family will greet friends at Borek-Jennings Funeral Home in Howell on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 11 a.m. -12:45 p.m. just prior to the funeral mass. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Howell.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or PetSmart Charities.
