Myra Palmer

Mrs. Myra Willene Porterfield Palmer, age 88, of Hartwell, GA. passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at her home.

She was born in Oglethorpe County, GA. on June 26, 1934, to the late Clifford Jessie Porterfield and Delma Patton Porterfield.

Mrs. Palmer was a member of Dispensational Bible Church and was retired from UGA working in Animal Science. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and gardening.

She is survived by her daughter; Terri Palmer (Terry) Cleveland, of Hartwell, GA., grandchildren; Phillip (Crystal) Cleveland, Caleb (Anna) Cleveland, Charity (Dakota) Dickerson, and two great-grandchildren, Vinton Cleveland and Lacie Whitten. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Eugene "Bill" Palmer and brother; William Martin Porterfield.

It was Mrs. Palmer's wishes to be cremated and no formal services will be held. Burial will be in the Comer City Cemetery.
