Mollie Ray

Mrs. Mollie Ray age 88 of Hartwell passed away peacefully at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House on February 8, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born on August 4, 1935 to Mr. John Ridgway and Mrs. Lillian Fleming Ridgway Carlton in Royston GA. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her flowers, traveling, being with family and camping. She was married for 62 years to Charles A Ray. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Parks Ridgway and Abb Ridgway; sisters, Doris Stevens, Evelyn Howell, Berksie Whitaker. 

Left to cherish her memories are her children; Charles (Paula) Ray of Hartwell and Melinda (Jim) Robertson, her siblings; Melba (Tommy) Tucker and Sam Ridgway, grandchildren; Terry ( Jennifer) Massey, Jeremy (Samantha) Massey, Jessica ( Tracy) Laverdiere, Ryan (Kristin) Ray and Tiffany (John) Bruce. 12 great grandhchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. 

Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Private burial will be at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
