Mrs. Michelle Leeann (Waters) Marcengill age 50, of Bowman, GA passed away on Monday July 20, 2026 at her home.

Born February 6, 1976 in Elberton, GA she was the daughter of David Waters. Michelle cared for others as a Nursing Assistant in her working years. She found peace and happiness anywhere in the Smoky Mountains. She loved butterflies, Lady Bugs, and strawberries. 

In addition to her mother Michelle is preceded in death by her mother Pamela Ann Johnson. As well as grandparents Peggy Johnson, and J.D. Waters. 

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Tim Marcengill, Son Tanner Gage Thomas (Sadie), daughter, Krista-McKynna Thomas, grandson Cohen Thomas, sisters, Kristy Booth (Billy) and Alisha Waters, grandmother Janelle Waters, and Grandfather Maxwell Johnson, and her mother in law Gloria Hambrick. 

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. from Fork Creek Baptist Church. 

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory of 333 E. Johnson Street Hartwell, GA 30643.
