Michael Wayne Scoggins age 64 of Dewy Rose, Ga. passed away at his home on August 6, 2026. He was born in Greenwood South Carolina to the late Bobby and Mary Scoggins. Michael enjoyed spending time fishing, boating and he loved planes. He was a carpenter by trade. 

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Nora Scoggins, children; Amber Scoggins, Maranda West, Monica Brown, Jason Boggs, and Julie Boggs. Siblings Richard Scoggins, Lee Scoggins (Kathy), Kenneth Burton and Selina Jones and one niece Christina Scoggins.

Michael's wishes were to be cremated and no formal service has been scheduled at this time.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory, 333 E. Johnson St. Hartwell Ga. 30643
