Matthew Lee Sweazey, age 52 of Hartwell Ga, passed away on May 8, 2025. He was born on June 19, 1972 in Jackson MN to the late Noble Lee Sweazey and Shirley Elaine Sims. He worked as a property manager and enjoyed fishing and model cars. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, father in law, Ronald Lee Thomas.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother Shirley Elaine Sims, spouse, Ronda Lynn Sweazey, sons, Ryan Blake of Hartwell, Spence Bryant Thomas of Hartwell, niece Samantha Bouquet (Corey) nephew Daniel New, great nieces; Lakelynn New, Sofia New and Endsley Bouquet. mother in law Margie Thomas. brother in law Ronald Thomas, and sister in law, Tammy New (Danny).

His body will be cremated according to his wishes and there will be no service.
