Mary Katherine "Kathy" McMichael Walterhouse

Ms. Mary Kathryn “Kathy” McMichael Walterhouse, age 66, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Hart Care Center.

She was born in Dekalb Co, GA on March 7, 1957 to Joseph Franklin Davis McMichael and Hazel Wylie McMichael. She was of the Methodist faith.  She was a retired special education teacher whose passion was children with Autism.  Her cats and dogs were part of her family as long as she was able to care for them. 

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents. 

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Karsen Bray(David) and son Logan Walterhouse(Ariel), along with her grandchildren Andrew Bray and Zelda Walterhouse and her two step grandchildren Guy Kappes and Josiah Kappes.

Her wish was to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
