Mary Alice (Norton) Clark, 76, of Hartwell, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on March 23, 2026.

Born in Royston, Georgia, Mary Alice was the beloved daughter of the late Joe and Rozelle (Dickerson) Norton. She was a woman whose life was centered around love, devotion, and family.

Mary Alice was a devoted wife to her husband, James R. Clark, and a loving mother to her children, Janet Annette Crunkleton, Mark Randall Clark, and Scott Russell Clark. Her family was her greatest joy and purpose, and there was never a day that they were not on her mind. She poured her heart into caring for those she loved, always putting family first in everything she did.

She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Michael McCurley, Allison Jordan, Damian Clark, Alexis Ouzts, Dylan Clark, Bryson Clark, and Emma Clark, and a loving great-grandmother. Her legacy of love continues through each of them.

Mary Alice is also survived by her siblings, Jackie Harris and Sharleen Norton. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Norton Jr.

She will be remembered for her unwavering love, her nurturing spirit, and the deep care she showed to everyone around her. Mary Alice was greatly loved and will forever be missed by all who knew her.

Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave so freely will remain in the hearts of her family forever.
