Mary W. Harrison

Ms. Mary Carolyn Johnson Whitlow Harrison, age 81 of 309 Old Royston Road in Canon, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Pruitt Health-Toccoa.

She was born on August 12, 1940 in Covington, Georgia to the late Arthur Johnson and Dorothy Ivy Johnson. She was a homemaker and member of Pennington Chapel United Methodist Church.

Left to cherish her memories are; her children, Danita (David) Segars of Canon, Ga., and Susan Peeples of Royston, Ga., siblings, Bonnie Jean Brunson, Andy Johnson and David Johnson all of Covington, Ga., grandchildren, Lauren (Will) Peeples Townsend, Cara (Matt) Dutton and Sam Segars. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Sherry Jean Whitlow and son in law, Eddie Peeples.

At her request no formal services will be held.

The body is at the funeral home and a private burial will be at Franklin Memorial Gardens-North.

Arrangements are under the care of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
