Mary Haley

Mrs. Mary Grace Welborn Tanner Haley, age 92 of Hartwell, Ga., went to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Brown Health and Rehab, Royston, Ga.

She was born on June 23, 1929 in Hart County to the late Emmett D. Welborn and Allene Duckett Welborn. She was retired from Hartwell Company where she was an inspector. She was a person that enjoyed life and being with her family and friends. Mary was a member of the Ladies Auxilliary V.F.W. Lavonia, Ga., and attended Tabernacle Baptist Church.

She is survived by; her daughter, Patricia Tanner Cleveland (Kenneth Alewine) of Hartwell, Ga., step-daughter, Tammy Alexander of Anderson, SC and grandson, James Cleveland. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Coolidge Tanner and second husband, Frank Haley, sons, James Randall Tanner and infant Larry Tanner, brother, Ralph Welborn, and sisters, Sara Beatrice Kinley and Brenda Outz.

The body is at the funeral home and the family will hold a time of visitation and fellowship on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. It was Mary's wish to be cremated following the visitation. She will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be at their respective homes.
